Great if you fit their look standards and can self train. - Community Manager Greystar Employee Review

Pros

The pay is good, and for the most part you're left alone to do your things. You're rewarded when you do well.

Cons

This company is brutal. Very little to no training is offered, with only a fraction of that actually being practical experience. Their trainers aren't up to date on what company policies are. The company doesn't care about you. They care more about what you look like than how you perform so expect to wear heels daily, even when your job is 75% walking. They rip off their residents and leave you to take the fall for it. Expect high stress and long hours, working until midnight, if that's what it takes.

Pros

Pay with housing discounts tend to be better than competition

Cons

Severe negatives if you plan on taking any type of leave of absence. While they are required to allow the leave, (my experience) has been that if retaliatory since it adds additional work load to those in your group (your boss). I’ve experienced this personally, and have seen it with other managers in my group. You will start to receive write ups that you never had before, micro managed, and/or fired after such things. I went from discussing promotions before my leave started to becoming ineligible for rehire after taking state protected LOA.
