      Large corporate entity will take a chance on hiring almost anyone willing to work

      Cons

      Tribal corporate culture makes advancement very difficult for those not handpicked or sponsored. Do not be cajoled by the term “open-door policy”. The only open door is the one to the building. Keep your ideas to yourself; they will not be heard. Company is not very forward thinking and very slow at change. Beware that salary IS NOT corporate controlled as you will be told. You may very well be compensated below those with less experience or quality. Do not believe that going above and beyond will help you here.
