Pros

Grow.com has some nice people working for it and the benefits are decent. Everybody is genuinely friendly.

Cons

The company isn't really going anywhere. Their code base is an absolute mess and they are trying to juggle far too many integrations for the number of developers they have. They have been trying to re-identify their purpose as a company in latter years. I can't speak for what happened before 2021, but I have been told by both internal and external sources that they experienced a lot of churn and "pivots." Domo & Google dominate the larger "enterprise" corporate accounts and Grow isn't able to charge a premium for their service because it can't really compete on that level, so they are stuck right now in the small/medium "value" sector. It's hard for them to keep clients as the product is a buggy mess and they (the company as well as the clients) know that. I once pointed out a massive security flaw (and yes, it was serious) and was told "don't worry about it, just get back to work." That gives you a pretty good idea of their culture right there. The CEO lives in Puerto Rico and is marginally connected to the company at best.

Good, smart humans working on some fun problems.

Cons

Fast paced environment. Opportunities to increase communication but not a deal breaker.

Pros

They have some great people working for the company. It was good to learn from them and build my network. The industry is a cool and exciting one to be in. Learning BI and data has been a valuable skill for me to grow my career.

Cons

I don't see Grow succeeding and they have been going down for a few years now. They make quick and drastic pivots to the product, marketing, and overall business model without giving time to see if the changes will actually work. That was extremely frustrating to deal with when I worked for them. They don't put enough money into the product to make it stable or add key features to make it competitive in the market. The product is a buggy mess and so frustrating to use. One of the reasons I left was because I was tired of using Grow and dealing with all the bugs it has constantly. It's also missing key features that even basic BI tools have. It's overpriced and difficult to sell and even more difficult to keep customers. I had a lot of hope for Grow but I'm just not seeing it succeeding anymore. They focus too much on the financials instead of making strategic business decisions. That is due to an Accountant being the right hand of the CEO. Unfortunately, I see more layoffs coming soon. Hopefully, the CEO isn't on vacation in Mexico this time like he was when they laid off most of the sales team.
