Pros

Really great community (in the right departments), good for vets and civilians looking for a challenging environment. People push for your best work. This company is growing quickly, so opportunities might open for promotion and experience that you might not otherwise have gotten in a larger place. The CEO is a great guy; you'll actually want to work for him. Production and shipping aren't bad, but they're not easy jobs by any means. Management is strict but typically fair most of the time. Keep in mind, it wasn't always like this, and turnaround on managers has been pretty high in shipping. Customer service is a good bunch. Would recommend working with them in a heartbeat.

Cons

To the veterans out there - if you think that chain of command stops being a thing out of the military, you will be sorely mistaken here. As much as the senior leadership likes to insist that it doesn't exist at Grunt Style, middle management turns around and insists that it does, and it's very important, and you have to go through them for everything. If you don't, they will resent you, and they might even write you up for insubordination. I would stay away from Marketing and Sales if you can. The senior leader there is totally absent; traveling all the time, and at the office, he only speaks to a certain clique (who consider themselves "special" and won't work with you easily because of their "status"). Doesn't matter how hard you work or if your numbers are great; he doesn't care, and you're an inconvenience to him because you're not persuading and kissing up to him at every turn to pay attention to you. That attitude translates well to his team, who are well known in the company for their catty, petty bickering among themselves. Newbies aren't made welcome at all; I've heard very loud conversations from my desk where people are pooling money to see if a new hire would last six months in the company, laughing and demeaning them behind their back. I've seen vets arrive who are dealing with depression or PTSD, thinking that being around vets would help them, turn around after two or three months because of these sincerely horrible people. Just stay FAR away.

Pros

Culture and collaboration are top-notch. You want a workplace that you are excited to go to, that's Gruntstyle. The CEO associates with everyone. It is a modern workplace. You are allowed to move around and do perform your duty. There's no discrimination. I truly loved it there.

Cons

They need to pay more.

Pros

Good enough company to work for even through they are going under. Some of the people you work with are nice and willing to work with you to improve.

Cons

If you work in the retail space at the HQ store don’t expect to learn anything. If you try to learn anything or ask questions you will be met with ugly looks from the managers and DM. Or be told that it’s not your job and then they will turn it around and say your not doing enough.etc
