      Pros

      5 days on/10 days off. Shifts included with safe timeout policy and if working a fixed winged base you can respond from home (30min response time). Pay is ok. Never forced to fly and helicopter shopping is not tolerated.

      Cons

      Part of GMR which can feel like you’re just a number and that you are replaceable at the drop of the hat.

      Pros

      Guardian is growing a strong culture, the people that work there are fantastic.

      Cons

      Alaska is incredibly remote and it can be challenging to travel around the state.

      You will be compensated for the work you perform and fairly

      Cons

      They are wildly lacking in growth and opportunity. At the our location we are not even allowed to do our own maintenance documentation while performing work. Very disorganized in daily processes with poor communication. You just show up and find something to work on.
