Pros

Their cafeteria is nice, and free meals on Wednesdays are nice.

Cons

Guardian hires temp workers to manage all HR related inquiries. These temp workers receive no time off, no insurance, and receive below average pay hourly through the temp agency. Management will entice these temp workers with a “full time position”, after 3-9 months of “training”. Most temp workers end up quitting, or being let go from the stress. Guardian desires young temp workers to staff their department, and fail to recognize the turnover is due to bad management, and unrealistic expectations.

Pros

Flexibility, excellent work life balance, casual environment, easy to use PTO. Benefits: health, dental, STD/ACC, vision, 401k are excellent

Cons

Pay is much below the standard for the position, raises and bonuses are minimal and hardly reflect the effort that is required to maintain positive metrics/meet goals. Case managers' responsibility is at a max and we often feel overwhelmed by the workload and expectations of management. Case managers are often responsible for tasks outside of the important things that have an effect of the claim
