Pros

GTCC is a good place to work. Most of the faculty and staff care about their work: helping people in the community reach goals. GTCC is offers a very diverse student population.

Cons

Over the last few years, the upper administration at GTCC started to micro-manage employees. Communication is very one-way with little input from those in daily contact with the students.

Working with other instructors and helping students to achieve their goals.

Cons

Upper level administration is very oppressive and will find ways to terminate anyone who dissents or questions the decisions they make. Even when presented with clear evidence that their decisions will have a negative impact on students. They have an attitude that you either go with what they want or leave and have actually stated it. There is a very top heavy administration while certain areas lack enough full time instructors to run programs.
