Pros
Most store level life is pretty solid. Most store managers are fairly easy to work for, and most clients are pretty amicable, and you typically get a good mix of pretty friendly musicians to work alongside. If you know your gear, are likable, and hustle its not hard to make pretty good scratch.
Cons
Corporate is completely disconnected from stores and have little understanding of what/why/how we operate. Most of the corporate employees who came up from stores were terminated during budget cuts over the last few years and replaced with people with zero store experience. Middle management is too afraid to tell corporate when their ideas suck. Getting threatened to be fired for not selling enough warranties is a garbage company behavior as well.
