Pros

You'll meet some cool people who love gear as much as you. You get a discount on some products.

Cons

Without A.M. access you are limited to what information you can access. Crucial numbers to let you know costs (retail, wholesale, manufacturers, actual) are unavailable without an A.M. You need them to make almost all transactions. And while you wait, with 3 pissed off people who need your help and want to buy things, he is selling things in any department he wants to whoever he wants. You see, he's working off commission just like you are. The difference is he's hung around long enough to get those golden passwords that allow him to make a living while you never make above minimum wage, for lack of selling enough gear. Unless you have secondary income and just want to use the job as a way to make money and turn around and stock up on gear with your discount, this is a terrible job. If you like playing music going into it, you won't by the time you leave.

Pros

Sweet deals and discounts Coworkers are very pleasant to work with Good as extra income Good for aspiring musicians to network with experts of the industry

Cons

Obsolete softwares Scheduling system software that is thenmost imperative tool as of it will be the backbone of a lesson lead for your team of instructors success it's also somewhat obsolete amd constantly crashing both IT and Upper management are aware. IT is very diligent and pleasant to work with but Upper management expects their lessons lead to work and deliver at 100% capacity while they continue to have an operating system that only works at 75% capacity, just beware of that and if you're willing to work under those conditions. With that put there go at your own discretion. Nobody gets Christmas/winter holiday vacation time off, also go at your own discretion on that one especially if you have kids and family looking for work-life-balance.
