Pros

Good benefits, but those are dwindling. Good pay.

Cons

Runs good techs to exhaustion and allows poor techs to remain and do very little, putting more pressure on the good techs. Management style is reactive, not proactive. Bad things happen, and a new policy is generated to prevent it. Managers are recruited from the Service Dept. and get little or no management training.

Pros

-Work in an air conditioned hangar! -All the tools and support needed to do the job -Excellent training available -Good safety culture -Fairly easy work -Lots of opportunities to grow

Cons

Big corporate politics at times. Some people just love to point fingers. Rules that are very excessive due to incompetence, instead of just firing morons.

Pros

PTO policy is pretty straight forward and a decent amount of time. If you’re right out of high school or your only desire is to turn wrenches you’re entire life, this place is for you. Three day weekends.

Cons

There is no mobility. They can’t find mechanics so if you are one, they will keep you there at all costs. They fully rely on the good old boy system. The people that are in management positions, especially at West Palm, do not care about anything other than staying where they are and using what little power they think they have. Management is very customer focused but forget their employees. Health benefits are seriously lacking.
