Pros

Good job security. Average market pay structures.

Cons

1. High deductible health care plans. Insurance sucks and literally changes every year! I suspect they always go with the cheapest annual insurance bid. Imagine that! 2. Hard work keeps you in your current position because they are desperate for good talent. I was turned down multiple positions because they needed me to stay in my position due to lack of other experienced employees. Supervisor told me this! However, if you are lazy and can go golfing on the weekend with the higher up management, then you will exceed in your career and will move up the ladder rather quickly. When I was employed their, I remember a Director hired 2 of his friends who did not meet the qualification of the job and other qualified people found out and reported it. If they didn't report the incident, no one would have ever been caught. The director was fired and the other 2 employees had to find another job but this kind of stuff happens all the time in that place. Its sad! If your not a "Good Ole Boy" then expect to stay in your position for years or quit like I did and find a better company.

Pros

-Work in an air conditioned hangar! -All the tools and support needed to do the job -Excellent training available -Good safety culture -Fairly easy work -Lots of opportunities to grow

Cons

Big corporate politics at times. Some people just love to point fingers. Rules that are very excessive due to incompetence, instead of just firing morons.

Pros

Gulfstream is a good company, I would come back to it. Can be a fantastic work life balance. PTO and benefits are decent. Can be an excellent career builder if you have connections and play your cards right. They can pay for your masters. Self-starters are rewarded and recognized,

Cons

-Ultimately, your experience heavily depends on your specific group—and some can be incredibly profane and toxic. If you are trying to implement an improvement but it doesn't agree with leadership, you can be harassed. -You might find yourself fourth in a long line for a position that only opens once a year; many jobs already have a person picked before they are ever posted. This isn't new information.
