Pros

Remote work from home Average benefits Generous vacation time

Cons

This company is excellent if you want to pursue a career as a reinsurance broker, however the Client Support Services department should be avoided. There are not a lot of opportunities to advance within or outside this department. Client Support Services promotions require navigating through multiple layers of management and politics. Management provides little assistance in developing and training their own employees. You are at the mercy of management’s decisions when it comes to career advancement and climbing the corporate ladder. Despite all the embellishments regarding the numerous career opportunities, not every employee can formally advance. New systems that were recently implemented in CSS are horribly flawed and inefficient creating a backlog of work. Benefits and compensation are relatively average, but vacation time is generous. They have a stock purchase plan that offers a very small discount on the company stock. This is not exactly a great perk.

Pros

I'm not there anymore. Fair pay. Started out great.

Cons

Midway through a year-long contract I already started looking. It was an extremely boring place to work. This is the kind of place where you stay within your boundary. In other words, if you are an architect, you design diagrams all day. No hands-on work - even if you know what you're doing. I was even rebuked on several occasions for working with a developer to help him out. I was told I needed to tell him to ask someone else responsible for that. If you like to do hands on and you are an architect, you will hate it here.
