Pros

Co-workers are nice. They REALLY TRY to help each other.

Cons

Assignments are so unsafe. 6 to 7 patients. It does not matter if you have patients on drips. Most of the time with 1 PCA in a floor with 42 patients. Meditech (charting system) is a nightmare. They expect you to do everything! Even the housekeeping tasks! Everyday they will add a stupid rule to make your work harder. The new one is that you can 't removed all your meds at once. Which it was already inconvenient having to log in 2 different computers to pull meds. If you have 7 patients, you have to log in more than 14 times just to pass your 0900 or 2100 scheduled meds! Stay away from this place!! Also their pay sucks.

I as of now have nothing negative to say about HCA Florida Blake Hospital. I make to most of everyday.

Cons

Pay is a little low for what I do for the team. I am hoping that will improve soon.

Good benefits as far as health insurance, etc.

Cons

Poor working environment w very little upper management support. They didn’t take patient safety issues and complaints seriously.
