Pros
- Great learning of Customer Handling. Mostly client facing role, so you will be used to it. - You will get chance and experience to work in all departments. While working in one department, you will have chance to shift to other department or function. - Salary always on time. Very transparent company in terms of financial transaction. You will have all financial benefits like PF, VPF, NPS and others. - No set criteria for leadership role. You can be a location in-charge even in one year if you have capability. - Great reach of the company so you will have more chance to work in your home state/district.
Cons
- Very less salary as compared to market standard. - Very slow growth. Reaching till P2 level is easy but after that there is so much of politics. - Still working in old technologies. You will not get much chance to work on newer technologies which will cause you while job change. - Even if you join as technical engineer, the company may put you in operational work and you don't have any other option but to agree. - You may be transferred to a remote (sometimes very remote) location. - Great internal politics. Buttering works very well in the organization. - In case of your performance issue, company may not fire you but can put you a situation where you will better leave the job. - Not very well managed company. - Not very good training programs. - Transportation and other allowance are very less. - No performance bonus. You may get some after band P3. - Since they are mainly into onsite customer support, you may have to travel extensively.
