Pros
1. One gets to work on variety of projects that helps enhancing skills in different areas. 2. Onsite opportunities, though the count has decreased since the past few months. 3. Better quality processes
Cons
1. Salary not per industry standards. 2. Most of the projects are support or maintenance, with little exposure to development. This leaves a technological gap where one needs to know different phases of development cycle. 3. Most management play politics. They care less about the employee, more about the profitability of the project at any cost, even if one is with the company since past many years. 4. Most of the time, they would place an unsuitable candidate for client interfacing positions and then make offshore employee to help execute the tasks. Even though company is getting billinh, however, this is not good in the long run and could portray bad image.
