Pros

The pay was good and the job was at a nice company.

Cons

It was a contracting job with a very big client. Unfortunately there was no one there to make sure the supervisor was fair and no corrupt. There fired many people every week which should have been a red flag that something needed to be investigated. I was apart of that unlucky majority. If you were not liked for any reason that had nothing to do with your work performance they would make up something and say it was your work performance and then fire you. There was no one to talk to, the hiring agency is CDI, and they acted like their hands were tied and just tell you that the client chose not to specifically say why. It is a very sad thing in this day and age that people can cause you to lose your job just because they don't like you. The client have about 4 people that are really corrupt. HCL did nothing to investigate or find out any further. I was there for 8 months, I missed 2 days-- which was the lowest of anyone there and not even one eyebrow was raised at the sudden firing? The stress that everyone was under because of the constant firing was too much. I heard that it is better now because the supervisor of HCL has changed so that may be a good thing because I saw her a side of her that was very ugly and unprofessional.

Pros

nothing, really, nothing appears to be functioning in this organization from onboarding over working, billing, offboarding

Cons

I have not been paid for my work after almost 90 days now. There is no formal explanation or refusal, but they are just sitting it out it appears, pocketing the money that has been paid on my behalf by the client.
