      Pros

      HDR is like any typical engineering company. There are people you really like and some you can't believe haven't gotten fired. It is middle of the road.

      Cons

      HDR will hires and promotes form outside the company a lot. They are more likely to go out and get the skills they need rather than internal training.

      Excellent structure and procedures in all areas of business

      Cons

      Role involved a lot of remote support whereas I prefer hands on, but overall excellent company.

      Job security generally pretty high

      Cons

      Work environment is intense (in an uncomfortable way. not in a fun challenging way) and not very accommodating/flexible despite how much employees are expected to give.
