Pros

Everything OTHER than ROW = AWESOME! Well organized, structured and a great team to support you and help with the larger projects. front end of technology and systems. Great Pay, Great Benefits, Stock options and profit sharing is Fabulous!

Cons

if you work outside of ROW, little Cons. however for ROW, HDR is quite difunctional. Some regions have GREAT leadership and direction. Others do not! those that have great Management are rarely hiring or when they do, you can get great answers from them. UNFORTUNETLY, most of the regions ROW teams do not have good Managers. they are either too focused on their own Narcissistic / Chauvinistic / Feministic needs, or are really too incompetent to be a manager (Many of the Principles of the regions do not know enough about ROW, so they end up promoting managers who speak a good game or have impressive statistical numbers, but don't really get to know the candidate until its too late, then doddle (or do nothing) to remove these people). Again, NOT all regions are bad for ROW - just most... do your research to see how many managers have been in place the last 6 years... or how long the role has been empty. or if another manager from another region is running your area = Red Flag! Additionally a few locations (a handful) have a subculture where everybody gets offended to easily. unfortunately everybody ends up keeping their head down and never interacting or talking with each other. too many Karnes whining about what they heard somebody said (which was usually taken out of context or only partially overheard; incorrectly)

Pros

The 401k is good, that's it..

Cons

The main complaint is having to beg for work within the company. They don't have enough work to give you and then complain that your overhead is too high. Communication and training is terrible. I've sent numerous emails to coworkers only to be ignored. You have to keep reaching out for someone to respond to you. The project managers also don't budget the labor for their projects well. They're very tight about how many hours you should spend on an assignment and it's often unreasonable, like read and compare a 600+ page document to a 300+ page technical document in 2 work days. The health insurance sucks too. Things that used to be covered are no longer covered such as basic labs. The insurance carrier is always denying services such as an MRI.
