Pros

Great floor care program and foundation class.

Cons

Vey impersonal organization and unprofessional. Everybody related to each other in the Senior leadership. Don't bother to stick up for yourself as this organization prides itself on retaliation and as most bosses are retaliatory when you objective to their unprofessionalism and poor behavior. Upper management and Senior leadership engage in poor behavior such as going to strip clubs regularly. HHS belittles their staff and offer them zero to nothing for benefits. The worst benefits if anything is offered. Very low wage, below poverty line. I don't recommend this company or any contract service. HHS now hires only part time employees to avoid paying benefits. Just lip service that gets a contract signed. All contractors are same. It's all about the bottom line and employees truly come last. This company is a hostile work environment and sad part is this organization is ignorant on recognizing their shortcomings.

HHS Response

We're not all related, but have encouraged friends & family to join us. Our objective is to be a competent, fair company who empowers staff. We discourage strip clubs & have removed past management for such poor choices while representing HHS. We care about our hourly employees & wish that we could offer higher wages & better benefits, but are limited by competitive pressures.

Pros

HHS genuinely lives its values. The family-owned foundation is at the core of how we support our frontline and leadership teams, creating a community-focused environment. There is also a deep-rooted commitment to continuous improvement. I have witnessed the organization prioritize training, mentoring, and promoting from within to help team members reach their full potential. While we hold ourselves to high standards, there is a strong culture of accountability balanced by genuine support and teamwork.

Cons

Because HHS is constantly evolving to meet the needs of new industries and clients, the environment is fast-paced. It requires a high degree of adaptability and the ability to navigate change quickly. Additionally, as a large and growing organization, projects can be complex, and navigating internal processes as we scale requires patience and strong communication.

Pros

Some hardworking people throughout the organization that are supportive and care.

Cons

Executive leadership lacks alignment. Priorities change constantly, communication is inconsistent, and there is little to no strategic direction. It feels like pure chaos all the time. The organization has grown faster than its infrastructure. Corporate teams are expected to support the company without the staffing or resources needed to do it well. Chronic burnout is inevitable when leadership continues to praise operating as a "lean team." Employees raise legitimate concerns, including concerns about leadership behavior, yet nothing changes. Accountability seems to depend on who you are rather than what happened. Favoritism and nepotism are blatantly obvious. If you're not part of the inner circle (or family), don't expect the same opportunities or support. Benefits continue to be stripped away, annual raises are minimal (2% or less) with no clear explanation for how increases are determined, and there is no transparent bonus structure. This was the most toxic work environment I've ever experienced. If you're considering working here, I'd encourage you to look elsewhere.
