Pros
I actually have no Pros for this company, after working with them for 7 1/2 years. I took 3 weeks vacation within that 7 years, and once submitting a 2 weeks notice, I finally received a check in the mail that was far short of what was owed to me. I am still fighting to get nearly 4 1/2 years vacation time owed me from this company. They also changed my anniversary date in regards to my vacation time accruement, and after several request over the years and promises that it would be straightened out, it never was. It was a little over 6 months off. Where I worked they frequently changed supervisors. The average length of stay was about 18 months. The catch is this...-----> They would all come in and give a different version of company policies. I am not fabricating this. Employees that were promised only 1 year vacation were taking 3 and 4 months off from work annually, while others were not allowed too. If you want to work for a company who cannot keep accurate record of your vacation time, then this is the company for you. I am not the sole employee who would find fault with their vacation time. I only used 3 weeks vacation at the start of my nearly 8 years with the company, and they still weren't able to keep the records correct. You would always have to waste time explaining your hours to the new supervisor. Once I submitted my 2 weeks notice and requested my vacation time, one of the supervisors actually asked me "What makes you think you deserve that money?" I kid you not. So no Pros for these guys whatsoever.
Cons
The cons are way to many> The main one is that some employees are treated far differently than others. To many people who half work or nearly not at all, and ten they require that you perform their task. If they ever approach that person and get them to perform, then it lasts for a couple of days and you are right back where you started. Why did I stay? The facility was small, and even though it was exhausting work it was manageable, but I could not have worked at a bigger hospital and be able to do my work and that of others, and last but not least, to get them for their negatives, I had to file a complaint with the EEOC, equal employment opportunity council, and the case is currently being investigated by an enforcement unit. You should steer away from this company. I am not saying this out of spite, but it is one one the worst, if not the worst job I ever had in all of my living days and I have had enough to compare this one too. I was also offered work after leaving, and I am thinking it makes no sense to have eeoc investigating you and I am working for ya. I am not ever going to work for this company again, no matter what. I am thankful that the EEOC did open up my case against them and are now investigating. When or lose, I did so because someone had to know about this company, and set them on the right path. You should heed this truth and search for better, unless you are in dire need of employment. My experience with this company was awful, and that is without complaining and my doing my (Lion's) share of the work.
