We do not deny the fact that our Directors and Assistant Directors carry an immense amount of responsibility, and that the nature of our business can often require long hours and an above-and-beyond approach to service. It is not our policy for ADs to work 60+ hours per week, and we are in the process of conducting our annual management experience survey -- which is anonymous, and covers work hours, frequency of weekend work, compensation, turnover, regional support, benefits, and more. While we understand it may sometimes be necessary to put in extra hours, we strive to ensure that this is not the norm. As we have grown and expanded our business and our geographic footprint, we have seen some issues arise (as indicated in large part by reviews like this one) in management support and regional executive support. Over the past year, we have undergone a significant realignment of our operational management structure to provide more support and resources to our on-site leadership teams. We now serve more than 400 hospital partners across the U.S. and overseas, and our Austin Office has grown accordingly to support our teams in the field. We are proud to employ highly-qualified team members from a wide range of backgrounds, including those who happen to be related to one or more company owner. Many family members do work in various roles for the organization but it is absolutely untrue that everyone at our Austin Headquarters “is related.” In fact, of the leaders of our Finance, Marketing, Business Development, IT, Administrative, Team Member Resources and Payroll departments, none are related to any company owners. Our Area VPs are predominantly former Directors and ADs, so the claim that they know nothing about day-to-day operations is demonstrably false. If we habitually underbid contracts, we would not be growing at the rate we continue to grow, and our company certainly would not be successful. We strive to be competitive in our bids, our compensation, and our benefits packages.
