Pros

- Well, it is a high-pressure environment - When we still worked in the office we got free food on Thursdays and even bagels sometimes (the quality gradually declined but that's not important, right?) - If you work at the Pittsburgh office, the HR person quit well over a year ago, so if you don't like dealing with HR, that might be a pro? (Payroll does handle HR concerns, as well) - The building the Pittsburgh office was located in really was lovely. Old, marble, chairs near the elevator for use during your five-minute breaks

Cons

- The company simply does not have enough employees to keep up with its workload and as far as management is concerned, it's your responsibility to make up the difference - Don't expect fair compensation for overtime - Breaks are discouraged; working through lunch is encouraged - If you fall behind on your ridiculous workload, you will receive pay cuts. How much, may you ask? I have no idea, and neither do most employees. Your pay is decided by a complex algorithm involving project completion that few employees fully understand - The payroll department is not equipped to deal with disability accommodations. - Because everyone on staff is overworked, problems cascade. - Additionally, training updates are not rolled out evenly across the company, largely because the staffing problem affects the number of trainers too - The staffing problem is largely a result of the poor conditions, causing most employees to leave after a year or so; don't expect to cultivate long-term working relationships with anyone - During my time in the office, our staff was overwhelmingly white; diversity hiring does not seem to be a company priority
