Working at an airport is very inconvenient -Parking, valid driver’s license is required to get a free parking sticker. expect a minimum 25 min commute from your car to the employee bus thru security and to your work station, add more if you get sent to another terminal (which occurs frequently) -no break rooms, microwaves/toasters or employee restrooms -Security, going thru the metal detectors and waiting in line, although you can technically skip because you are an employee, be prepared to get nasty looks/yelled at from others. Rude customers, you get people who are tired, angry at the airline/TSA and you better make their latte quick because they have 5 minutes left to board. -Boring 1 week training with a tour, pay attention on the tour, ride shotgun and ask questions about how to get around. -badging office can take HOURS to help you out if you don't make an appointment. -chasing paper pay checks
