Pros

It was nice to gain insight to the company's processes; why and how things happen. I liked learning about all their technology.

Cons

The nepotism and bureaucracy was off the charts. I saw multi linguists and people with advanced degrees underpaid and over worked. They treated their best people like garbage. Everyone was afraid of losing their jobs at a moments notice and for good reason. I saw some very hard working and conscientious people get harassed by managers, slandered by leadership, over loaded with work and denied fair treatment; the typical toxic corporate environment. It seems that narcissists and bullies are the ones who are kept on and get promotions. HP's products have reached an all time low. They are literally built to fail as soon as the warranty expires, some fail even sooner. Customers are given a horrible run around and they are furious. There have been many Better Business Claims made.

Pros

Good working culture. It falls a little prey to acting like we're a family and not a business, but at least it doesn't pretend "we work hard, we play hard".

Cons

ELT and upper management have zero vision for the company besides desperately trying to pull up stock prices. Company continues to make deep long-term sacrifices for short term gains, that barely rise above the performance of our competitors. Benefits weaken each year. Example: CVS Caremark now handles RxD insurance, and CVS Caremark is incompetent and exploitative.
