It started out great - great pay, nice people (or so I thought)

Although I had come on board being honest that I had minimal insurance knowledge, they hired me anyway. They gave me a quick run-through of things, and threw me to the wolves. I was constantly berated for not doing things correctly, and no one would take the time to walk me through it. When they did, they were visibly irritated about it. Training was shoddy, and most of the people in the office were two-faced. I consistently heard people whispering about me and other employees - lots of “clique” behavior and exclusion - no efforts were made to get to know me or include me in anything. I was let go for “unprofessional appearance” (AKA I didn’t wear makeup some days - they went on to tell the unemployment office that I looked medicated or drunk.) I was never talked to about this, and let go very suddenly. It honestly was the worst job I’ve held in my entire life, not just because of the lack of training - it was traumatic to be treated like I was, and it was a shock that they would let me go after not even talking to me about any “issues” they saw. It’s clear that unless you fit their mold, they treat you like garbage.
