Pros

Great people, open atmosphere. People are willing to work as a team. No drama or gossip. Office is in a safe, secure building and area. Good opportunities for growth.

Cons

No leadership. Very poor management, employees do not feel that they are being heard. There's also some lack of trust there between employees and management. Ok benefits, no vision coverage. Poor pay, for a so called top broker. You can easily find another broker that will pay you minimum 10% more for the same job with less work volume. There were also cuts to commissions and bonuses. Also there are no salary structures for positions! All you will get is "we will base it off your qualifications and experience" and they will never give you a reasonable amount if you are moving around in the company. Constant changes that are hard to deal with. It's always more work being assigned from management but NO compensation. People are over worked. Many are unhappy, even those who have been with the company for +10 years. This place is a revolving door. People are being laid off on the regular due to "structure changes." They don't care how long you've been with the company. Various departments were always on edge about whether or not they would be keeping their jobs. Everything is about numbers and reports!!

Pros

Remote work, health insurance benefits.

Cons

I do not recommend working in corporate for HUB, especially in TechOps. Based on my experience, the culture in that area was extremely unhealthy. I saw repeated issues with senior leadership communication, decision-making, accountability, and how employees were treated and concerns handled. Additionally, in my view, HR did not provide meaningful support when employee concerns were raised, completely downplaying the concerns at times. Employees often had to work around confusing or poor leadership decisions instead of being supported by clear direction. I also witnessed senior leadership not tolerating feedback from their employees in a healthy manor. The result was a toxic work environment where many very strong employees have left over the past year.
