I regret not having enough information about this company prior to my collaboration with them. Nonetheless, my tenure with this organisation has ended, and I have moved on. Yet, I want to aid individuals who are considering joining this company. Therefore, I advise them to read and comprehend every aspect of the offer letter before accepting the offer.: Before accepting an offer from Hach company in India, it is advisable to go through the one-star reviews. Even though the organization may appear to be a good opportunity to work with, perhaps even competing with EnH or Emerson in water management, it is important to be aware of the negative aspects. The organization lacks good culture and effective management. Although the lower-grade employees may be good, the Sales Heads and BU Heads are the worst people one could encounter. It is essential to take into account the experiences of previous employees before deciding to work with a company. It is suggested that one should go through reviews and comments to gain an understanding of the company's work environment, culture, and management style. By doing so, one can make an informed decision about whether to accept an offer from the company or not. In this particular case, it appears that Hach company in India has a negative work culture and ineffective management, which may impact an individual's career growth and job satisfaction. It is not recommended to rely on 4 or 5-star reviews, or brief reviews, as they are typically provided by individuals who are trying to maintain the company's image. These reviews may be paid or manipulated by the management. If you plan to join this organization, relying on these types of reviews can potentially harm your career. It is written with a heavy heart that due to the mental pressure created by the company, one may feel the urge to leave within the first month. Therefore, it is advised to carefully evaluate the company and make an informed decision, rather than solely relying on 4/5 star reviews. The management lacks adequate skills despite holding high positions within the organization. They are deficient in people skills but have still managed to climb up the corporate ladder. Their biggest issue is that they treat employees like machines instead of acknowledging their human needs. The success of a company largely depends on its workforce and failing to recognise this has led to their revenue generation problems for over 50 years. The workers are not to blame, rather it is the management's tactics that have created these challenges.

Flexible PTO Super friendly management and executives Accepting culture. You can actually be yourself (tattoos and all) Fantastic pay and benefits They treat their employees really well

Pros

Decent pay, good hours, fairly simple tasks, some hybrid flexibility.

Cons

Constant micromanaging of performance and KPIs. Performance is posted to the entire department with each error highlighted, be it minor or major. I was actively discourage from asking for help, or questions if I was unsure about an aspect of the job. Myself and my cohort were also actively discouraged from speaking or communicating with one another. This bred more competition and animosity between some employees in tandem with the constant focus on KPIs and comparing scores. Contract-to-hire was on a case-by-case basis and was said to be performance based as well as seniority based. This didn't always track as managers would be inclined to favoritism and certain employees would get fast-tracked or left behind their initial hire groups without explanation. Terrible first responder system for medical emergencies and education to employees on how to handle it (which occurred frequently).
