I moved from the ER after 6 years to the Cancer Center. You want to talk about day and night! My current position, mangers, and team are phenomenal! I am truly happy to come to work everyday, versus the horrible and toxic environment I came from in the ER. You learn a lot in the ER but the politics and micromanagement can make the environment mentally and physically taxing. Proceed with caution if that's the department you're looking at.
