Pros

discount was nice (once quarterly) complimentary soda/water

Cons

first off, they offered $50 Nike gift cards for positive glass door reviews so go figure as to why they have any good reviews and they are all fake (they got called out by others as well) . Second, very high turn over we lost like 8-10 a month at times. Lost an associate designer and me the assistant was supposed to pick up ALL the work. Management (including supervisors) are rude catty and unprofessional. I worked for this company from February 2017 until July 2017. When i first came in for my interview I was promised a "work life balance" and a "family atmosphere" well that was a load of crap. Working in design was awful you where always expected to stay late and are treated like trash by upper management (who is really clueless and stops work from being done) The design director on my team was a major psycho with a huge attitude problem and ego. I was constantly re-doing the same work stopping all productivity due to OCD designers/design directors. I have never been within a position in design where I am pushing paperwork all day. I got put on "probation" the day after I tried to switch roles within the company and would have weekly touch base meeting with my design director, HR and designer on my team. this process was to constantly tear you down and only focus on the negative, they even lied multiple times or had their facts misconstrued. overall I was miserable from week two and luckily found a great new job before my "probation" month was up and I was terminated. It was nice going into the meeting and telling them to shove off I'm out. Overall they could have been a great starting opportunity but they don't have their stuff together. I have many friends who worked there and hated it or got let go. They expect too much without compensation. Just an overall toxic non conducive environment.

Pros

The holiday party. Oh wait, it’s on a Tuesday or Wednesday so no one can truly enjoy themselves, so nevermind! Absolutely no pros.

Cons

If I could change one thing in my life, it would be working at Haddad Brands. Coming straight out of college and it being your first job, you truly have no idea how warped working there is. The delusion and greed of the family should be studied-the workload and how they treat their employees is inhumane and honestly disgusting. A crash course is the hours are 8:30-5:30-giving them an extra hour of your life for absolutely no reason. You’re looked down upon if you take a break or step out, even just for a minute. You sit in a jail cell, with no windows, for 9 hours a day-elbow to elbow with the person next to you-and cameras watching and tracking your every move. The Haddads actively work to fire people (don’t be mistaken I wasn’t one of those people-getting a new job was probably one of the best days of my life)-who they consider to be ‘C Class Players’ which is anyone who doesn’t dedicate blood, sweat, tears and overtime to them. All you do is make them money but when it comes time for raises, promotions, benefits etc., they can’t put their money where their mouth is. The work is genuinely not even close to manageable-no matter how hard you work-and everything is under a microscope and scrutiny. The work from home days that have now dwindled into basically zero is laughable and there is no work life balance whatsoever. Just know that if you work at Haddad, you will be worked like a dog-no ifs, ands or buts.
