Pros

There really are no pros other than the workers themselves are good people and there is plenty of overtime at times if that’s for you.

Cons

If you are not one of the managements favorites it is a dead end miserable job. Micromanagement is crazy from upper management. Overtime is forced upon the workers, if you do not agree to it they will fire you. The turn over rate is higher than any other company I’ve ever seen. Certain managers talk down to and degrade employees on a daily basis. You can be the best worker and do everything your asked of and will still fire you if you don’t kiss up to upper management. They will even fire you if they do not like your car. The work environment is just toxic, a lot of catty ness and people only look out for them selves even management. They will throw their employees under the bus at any given opportunity. The pay is terrible, employees there for 5+ years have not seen a raise. Management is clueless and bought with company cars and such as long as they kiss up to the owners.

Pros

The holiday party. Oh wait, it’s on a Tuesday or Wednesday so no one can truly enjoy themselves, so nevermind! Absolutely no pros.

Cons

If I could change one thing in my life, it would be working at Haddad Brands. Coming straight out of college and it being your first job, you truly have no idea how warped working there is. The delusion and greed of the family should be studied-the workload and how they treat their employees is inhumane and honestly disgusting. A crash course is the hours are 8:30-5:30-giving them an extra hour of your life for absolutely no reason. You’re looked down upon if you take a break or step out, even just for a minute. You sit in a jail cell, with no windows, for 9 hours a day-elbow to elbow with the person next to you-and cameras watching and tracking your every move. The Haddads actively work to fire people (don’t be mistaken I wasn’t one of those people-getting a new job was probably one of the best days of my life)-who they consider to be ‘C Class Players’ which is anyone who doesn’t dedicate blood, sweat, tears and overtime to them. All you do is make them money but when it comes time for raises, promotions, benefits etc., they can’t put their money where their mouth is. The work is genuinely not even close to manageable-no matter how hard you work-and everything is under a microscope and scrutiny. The work from home days that have now dwindled into basically zero is laughable and there is no work life balance whatsoever. Just know that if you work at Haddad, you will be worked like a dog-no ifs, ands or buts.
