Pros

- Good discounts for Nike, Jordan, Converse & Levi's - Nice office space

Cons

- Pay is terrible! - No work/life balance. You are expected to be on call at all times and work 12-14hr days. - Company culture is extremely toxic. Everything revolved around "the family", employees are brainwashed into thinking everything is normal. - Employees are extremely catty and rude towards any new person starting. - During the bad months of the pandemic, we were still required to go into the office 3 days a week at minimum and had to deal with people traveling and not quarantining appropriately, not wearing masks and at least 1-2 positive cases in the office weekly, - No training whatsoever. You have to figure it out as you go. - Upper managements in my team was never present, I saw my supervisor in person 4 times in 6 months. Everyone else on the team was required to be in office. - You are treated more as an intern than an employee. - Technology was outdated, which made it difficult to work efficiently. - The structure of the company is a mess! There is a member of "the family" in every single team, even though most are not trained in that field.

Pros

The holiday party. Oh wait, it’s on a Tuesday or Wednesday so no one can truly enjoy themselves, so nevermind! Absolutely no pros.

Cons

If I could change one thing in my life, it would be working at Haddad Brands. Coming straight out of college and it being your first job, you truly have no idea how warped working there is. The delusion and greed of the family should be studied-the workload and how they treat their employees is inhumane and honestly disgusting. A crash course is the hours are 8:30-5:30-giving them an extra hour of your life for absolutely no reason. You’re looked down upon if you take a break or step out, even just for a minute. You sit in a jail cell, with no windows, for 9 hours a day-elbow to elbow with the person next to you-and cameras watching and tracking your every move. The Haddads actively work to fire people (don’t be mistaken I wasn’t one of those people-getting a new job was probably one of the best days of my life)-who they consider to be ‘C Class Players’ which is anyone who doesn’t dedicate blood, sweat, tears and overtime to them. All you do is make them money but when it comes time for raises, promotions, benefits etc., they can’t put their money where their mouth is. The work is genuinely not even close to manageable-no matter how hard you work-and everything is under a microscope and scrutiny. The work from home days that have now dwindled into basically zero is laughable and there is no work life balance whatsoever. Just know that if you work at Haddad, you will be worked like a dog-no ifs, ands or buts.
