Love the people I work with, paid vacation after you've worked full time for one year

Cons

Minimum wage even if you're very experienced, have to bring in over $25 per hour in salon to make even $9 an hour on your paycheck, constant unfair scrutiny under loss prevention, task lists and salon duties are not worth the $7.93 an hour, low tippers due to low prices, if customer has a coupon you still have to do all of the work for a discounted price on your paycheck, managers make commission while stylists make an hourly rate

It's a good job to get your foot in the door if you're a new stylist. Have hair styles/color contests through Regis Corp where you can win hair supplies/gift cards ect. Easy to build up your clientele'. Easy going salon with a fun atmosphere.

Cons

Unrealistic hair goals to move forward as a "Master stylist" Which really only gives you the names worth. Never pays higher then min wage. Not guaranteed 40 hours. Full benefits dental, vison, medical.. but not good benefits
