Pros

Work at an airport (fun environment)

Cons

Time commitment: Working with airlines, working schedules are all over the place. I worked graveyard shift and I also had to commute a fair distance. This was made worst as we had to work 6 days every week. Compensation: It is a full time position however, since there were at times two flights per a day you have to stay at the airport for about four extra hours doing nothing. So you are only getting paid 8 hours, but you are staying at the airport from afternoon to late night. Management: Management always had their favorites, so there were times where their favorites screw up, the supervisors would try to sweep it under the carpet and pretend nothing happened. Then there is also supervisor having office romance.

Pros

Good starter job for those in college Flexible schedule, don't need to come in when sick, can basically call off whenever if you ask early enough Easy interview, basically know some geography and how timezones work

Cons

Low pay Too many responsibilities at the pay range You're basically on call and the schedule will suck if you work for a smaller airline in that airport The insurance is UHC, you obviously know what that means (they're NEVER going to pay for treatment)
