Pros
Our property is very much a team player atmosphere, which is imperative in the hospitality industry. We are a family and we work very well together. Our GM is the best around, and we are blessed o have a leader like him. Hotel discounts are a VERY nice plus, and we get our hours averaged throughout the year to be used for vacation. Also they are pretty flexible.
Cons
VERY low pay for all the work involved. No room for advancement. Insurance offered to only a few employees, but VERY expensive. You have to be here because you like your job, but be prepared to have another side job, as you cannot live off the hotel industry pay. Also, Hilton advertises itself as being a family oriented environment, but it varies property to property.
