Problem resolution skills are often irrelevant as guests complain about industry wide policies, a lack of services that were never promised, and are able to go to the corporate level to get compensation for problems they never made the branch aware of. Offsite support is often contradictory and not knowledgable about topics that they are there to assist with. Hilton expectations are often unrealistic for the budgets and staff at given branches and locations.
