Pros
I love working for a family company where the shareholders are actively involved. You are given as much opportunity to grow professionally as you desire and are willing to work for. They encourage people to continue their education and to keep learning. As a woman working in a predominantly male industry, I have always felt respected and like my opinion matters to my peers and the Senior Team. The company has been very focused on continuous improvement over the last couple of years, and it shows in the way we are improving processes and bettering our procedures.
Cons
Like all places, Hampton isn't perfect. There are some people who want to do the bare minimum of their job, and then they are the same ones who write terrible reviews and complain when they are passed up for a promotion or don't get the raise they think they deserve. Basically, if you work hard and are willing to learn new things, you will succeed in this company.
