Very little pay and only get paid twice a semester at uncertain dates - Adjunct Professor Hampton University Employee Review

You are getting paid much less than you would at other universities in the area. What is more is they don't allow you to sign a contract stating your pay dates until you are weeks into the semester. You will only get paid twice a semester and it is a check, no direct deposit. This is my second semester there and I had to wait 12 weeks to get my first paycheck. My first semester the contract didn't even have the date that they would give me my second check. The contract stated "last working day of the semester" and I was told they hadn't decided that date yet.
