Pros
Typically consistent work schedules with overtime available. Decent benefits and pay, especially considering the lack of manufacturing work in the area.
Cons
Little to no room for advancement or acknowledgement of hard work. There's also a tendency to not punish individual problem employees, and rather push new rules or enforcements on the team as a whole.
