Pros

The managers and coworkers are amazing, I love working with them.

Cons

Even though they say you can move up in the company, it is difficult and the pay is terrible for the responsibilities that you are given.

Thank you for your feedback and please know that we hear what you are saying and are working to improve many, many processes across the company. We greatly appreciate all the hard work you and all of our awesome associates do across the country to help make Harbor Freight Tools a great place to work and shop. We have made some significant changes in the past year to drive associate growth and development, one of these changes was role clarity and the addition of almost 1,000 new full time roles company wide. We have more work to do and this is just one example of how we are helping our associate grow but we are headed in the right direction. Keep up the great work and we will see you in the stores.

Pros

Great benefits, fast paced environment, good teamwork. I liked the hours, you get an education about tools, whether from your coworkers or the customers. And speaking of the customers, they were on the better side for retail. Most are down to earth and easy to converse with.

Cons

Supply chain issues, many parts would never be replenished, despite being featured, advertised, and on display. That would often lead to tensions with customers. Aggressive time constraints on tasks. Sidewalk sales, holidays, and also coincidentally inclement weather days, can be quite busy and therefore stressful. Especially if there's call outs, but if you have a good management team, you'll have good staff that will want to work for them.
