Pros

They take care of their employees, the manager always asks how you're doing and what he can help. They pay well, have great benefits, and do a lot to help us out.

Cons

It's retail work, there are always hard customers to deal with. The corporate side of the company doesn't seem to make the most efficient choices at times.

Thank you for your feedback. We are always happy to hear from our hardworking team! We would not be able to accomplish all that we do without hardworking associates like you. At Harbor Freight, we value people above all else. We value who you are, what you’ve experienced, and how you see the world. Our goal is to be a great place to work and your feedback ill help us do that. We highly encourage our associates to reach out to their Store Manager if they have any concerns. Thank you for your continued hard work in Cedar City, UT and we’re glad to have you on the team!

Pros

Great benefits, fast paced environment, good teamwork. I liked the hours, you get an education about tools, whether from your coworkers or the customers. And speaking of the customers, they were on the better side for retail. Most are down to earth and easy to converse with.

Cons

Supply chain issues, many parts would never be replenished, despite being featured, advertised, and on display. That would often lead to tensions with customers. Aggressive time constraints on tasks. Sidewalk sales, holidays, and also coincidentally inclement weather days, can be quite busy and therefore stressful. Especially if there's call outs, but if you have a good management team, you'll have good staff that will want to work for them.
