Pros

I have been with HFT for about a year and I continue to confirm that I made the right choice in joining this organization. The HFT core values are truly at the core of all decisions made by our extensive leadership team. Each one of our 3 shifts has strong Operation Managers, Area Managers & Coordinators. And, talk about employee recognition and engagement. It far exceeds our competitors. HFT is the Best Place To Work in the industry! Best pay, benefits, increases, appreciation, safety programs, leadership development, etc. I am so impressed with how many associates have started as temporary hires and now are at management level. HFT is an awesome place to advance your career.

Cons

We are only guaranteed 2 days off a year, Thanksgiving and Christmas. So depending on business needs employees may be required to work during other holidays that American culture typically has off.

Pros

Great benefits, fast paced environment, good teamwork. I liked the hours, you get an education about tools, whether from your coworkers or the customers. And speaking of the customers, they were on the better side for retail. Most are down to earth and easy to converse with.

Cons

Supply chain issues, many parts would never be replenished, despite being featured, advertised, and on display. That would often lead to tensions with customers. Aggressive time constraints on tasks. Sidewalk sales, holidays, and also coincidentally inclement weather days, can be quite busy and therefore stressful. Especially if there's call outs, but if you have a good management team, you'll have good staff that will want to work for them.
