Pros

Great pay and associates that I work with are friendly.

Cons

Schedule would change without notice Would make plans for the weekend expecting to be off and then on Friday the schedule would change and have to work that weekend. A lot of associates so you don't get very many hours. A lot of management thinks they are to do the same closing duties as associates so when we open the store the associate who opens is rushed to do everything if they schedule is done incorrectly and we don't have a closing associate. Their is never a logistic person there at night and very seldom someone there to drive a forklift so if a big item is sold the customer has to come back to pick it up.

Pros

Great benefits, fast paced environment, good teamwork. I liked the hours, you get an education about tools, whether from your coworkers or the customers. And speaking of the customers, they were on the better side for retail. Most are down to earth and easy to converse with.

Cons

Supply chain issues, many parts would never be replenished, despite being featured, advertised, and on display. That would often lead to tensions with customers. Aggressive time constraints on tasks. Sidewalk sales, holidays, and also coincidentally inclement weather days, can be quite busy and therefore stressful. Especially if there's call outs, but if you have a good management team, you'll have good staff that will want to work for them.
