Pros

Not much. That paid time off was great if you ever got it (management tended to "lose" a lot of requests), I personally made a lot of friends during my time there.

Cons

Too many to list in a day. Horrible pay for the type and amount of work they ask of you, awful raises, the worst customers I've ever had to interact with, there's no way to be promoted unless you spend your life there or you happen to be friends with somebody at corporate, overnight shifts where you won't be paid anymore than usual, no sense of apathy from the corporate level, the turnover rate was very high, poorly managed company overall.

Hello. Thank you for sharing your input, especially about the paid time off and great coworkers. We are gratified that you made good friendships while you were with us. We also appreciate your "cons" and want you to know we're continuing to strive to make the workplace a more productive environment for our staff. We would have liked to have discussed this with you at length while you were with Harbor Freight and would have encouraged you to reach out to your HR representative or, if you'd preferred to remain anonymous, our HFT Outlet Hotline. We wish you good luck in your future endeavors.

Pros

Great benefits, fast paced environment, good teamwork. I liked the hours, you get an education about tools, whether from your coworkers or the customers. And speaking of the customers, they were on the better side for retail. Most are down to earth and easy to converse with.

Cons

Supply chain issues, many parts would never be replenished, despite being featured, advertised, and on display. That would often lead to tensions with customers. Aggressive time constraints on tasks. Sidewalk sales, holidays, and also coincidentally inclement weather days, can be quite busy and therefore stressful. Especially if there's call outs, but if you have a good management team, you'll have good staff that will want to work for them.
