Pros

As a vendor at the Dillon DC for the past 3 years I can vouch that this is a challenging but, rewarding environment to work in. The team is close knit bunch with a family like structure. The whole distribution network works closely between all facilities to make sure the stores receive the best experience possible. The Dillon DC is becoming one of the nicest facilities I have ever been apart of. Everyone is treated fairly from dock workers and processors to area managers and senior level personnel. The company has great benefit opportunities and a large pay scale for all. How great is it they you never hear of problems only opportunity!

Cons

Remember challenging from the pros section? I do mean challenging but, overall you get what you put in. Don't expect a easy street environment. Making sure the juice is worth the squeeze is big here so prepare to work hard for the large rewards.

Pros

Great benefits, fast paced environment, good teamwork. I liked the hours, you get an education about tools, whether from your coworkers or the customers. And speaking of the customers, they were on the better side for retail. Most are down to earth and easy to converse with.

Cons

Supply chain issues, many parts would never be replenished, despite being featured, advertised, and on display. That would often lead to tensions with customers. Aggressive time constraints on tasks. Sidewalk sales, holidays, and also coincidentally inclement weather days, can be quite busy and therefore stressful. Especially if there's call outs, but if you have a good management team, you'll have good staff that will want to work for them.
