Pros

I love working at Harbor Freight Tools. I feel so valued, supported, and like everything I do is appreciated. They truly care about keeping their associates happy. They are always doing fun engagement activities and contests, encouraging growth and development by offering classes, and keeping the door open for communication and feedback. I appreciate how caring they are when I have personal matters to handle or when I get sick, and I know my team has my back. This is truly the best job I’ve ever had and I hope I have the opportunity to work here for a long time. My leaders genuinely care about me as a person and it is so refreshing. I’m sure this culture is why a lot of people choose to stick around for a very long time. I also love being able to work remotely and have flexibility. I am never micromanaged and I am trusted to get the job done.

Cons

No cons I can currently think of.

Pros

Great benefits, fast paced environment, good teamwork. I liked the hours, you get an education about tools, whether from your coworkers or the customers. And speaking of the customers, they were on the better side for retail. Most are down to earth and easy to converse with.

Cons

Supply chain issues, many parts would never be replenished, despite being featured, advertised, and on display. That would often lead to tensions with customers. Aggressive time constraints on tasks. Sidewalk sales, holidays, and also coincidentally inclement weather days, can be quite busy and therefore stressful. Especially if there's call outs, but if you have a good management team, you'll have good staff that will want to work for them.
