I've struggled with inventory processes due to some logistics associates, primarily the part-time college kids, not following procedures and failing to effectively communicate thus introducing inefficiencies into the work which increases the workload. Logistics, particularly truck receiving, is physically intensive. My smart watch shows me burning an average of 1,200 activity calories and achieving >20,000 steps on a truck night. Some customers can be terrible to interact with, although nothing beyond what you'd experience in most customer-facing retail roles. While superb for an entry-level retail position you must understand that it's just that. You won't be making $50,000/year. You will be doing menial tasks and interacting with the public a lot.
