Pros

1. Teammates; by far the best team I’ve ever worked with in my retail career. They were very supportive of me during my onboarding phase. 2. This can lead into a con but there’s Always something to do. You’re never bored and the shift goes by quicker. 3. Competitive wages

Cons

1. I applied to the job assuming that I would solely do tasks that are focused on sales. However, there were a lot of other duties that were mainly logistics and custodial that I was assigned. You do wear many hats, and you’re never bored but the compensation isn’t quite fair. 2. The customers at my store were very short (rude) and perverted. 3. I didn’t feel as though my talents and skills were being utilized. Customer shopping experience isn’t really personalized so you’re essentially just a glorified cashier.

Pros

Great benefits, fast paced environment, good teamwork. I liked the hours, you get an education about tools, whether from your coworkers or the customers. And speaking of the customers, they were on the better side for retail. Most are down to earth and easy to converse with.

Cons

Supply chain issues, many parts would never be replenished, despite being featured, advertised, and on display. That would often lead to tensions with customers. Aggressive time constraints on tasks. Sidewalk sales, holidays, and also coincidentally inclement weather days, can be quite busy and therefore stressful. Especially if there's call outs, but if you have a good management team, you'll have good staff that will want to work for them.
