Pros

Professional and approachable leadership that genuinely supports employees. Well-organized company with clear processes and expectations. Strong emphasis on learning, growth, and doing things the right way. Team-oriented culture where collaboration is encouraged. Reliable systems and tools that make day-to-day work efficient once learned.

Cons

Initial onboarding for new PM's would benefit from one to two weeks of dedicated, in-person 1-on-1 training across all systems currently used by every roll on the property level to help new hires feel fully confident from the start.

Pros

Overall, Harbor Group has a positive company culture with supportive coworkers and opportunities to learn and grow. The compensation is competitive, the benefits package is solid, and the paid time off is fair. One of the biggest advantages is the bonus structure, which is among the best in the multifamily industry and rewards strong performance. If you’re motivated and willing to work hard, there are opportunities to build your career and gain valuable experience.

Cons

While the bonus program has strong earning potential, it is heavily tied to delinquency metrics, many of which can be influenced by factors outside of an employee’s control. This can make it frustrating when bonus goals are missed despite putting in significant effort. The workload for on-site teams is also very demanding, and many employees may feel that the level of responsibility is not always reflected in their compensation. As a result, maintaining a healthy work-life balance can be challenging at times.
