Pros

The only pro is that I get a paycheck

Cons

Company doesn't do anything to build moral for their employees. They don't have any company outings or holiday parties and they are so cheap when it comes to even having resident events. They expect us to have 2 events each month for the residents but do nothing for the employees. Then they tell us that our resident event budget is like $25. We barely get any holidays off and then when it says that a holiday is observed, they tell us that there still has to be a skeleton crew. There are so many reports that have to be done on a daily, monthly , and weekly basis. Bottom line is that Harbor group cares about making money and not about how hard their employees have to work. It's really sad.

Pros

Overall, Harbor Group has a positive company culture with supportive coworkers and opportunities to learn and grow. The compensation is competitive, the benefits package is solid, and the paid time off is fair. One of the biggest advantages is the bonus structure, which is among the best in the multifamily industry and rewards strong performance. If you’re motivated and willing to work hard, there are opportunities to build your career and gain valuable experience.

Cons

While the bonus program has strong earning potential, it is heavily tied to delinquency metrics, many of which can be influenced by factors outside of an employee’s control. This can make it frustrating when bonus goals are missed despite putting in significant effort. The workload for on-site teams is also very demanding, and many employees may feel that the level of responsibility is not always reflected in their compensation. As a result, maintaining a healthy work-life balance can be challenging at times.
