Pros

Harbor Group has a fantastic bonus structure and compensates their office staff well

Cons

Poor management from corporate down. There is no work/life balance here. The hours for office staff are long and often require weekends. Along with this their weeks go from Thursday to Friday which causes employees to work 6 days in a row often. The is a general disregard for office employees and most focus and recognition is given to the corporate employees

Pros

Overall, Harbor Group has a positive company culture with supportive coworkers and opportunities to learn and grow. The compensation is competitive, the benefits package is solid, and the paid time off is fair. One of the biggest advantages is the bonus structure, which is among the best in the multifamily industry and rewards strong performance. If you’re motivated and willing to work hard, there are opportunities to build your career and gain valuable experience.

Cons

While the bonus program has strong earning potential, it is heavily tied to delinquency metrics, many of which can be influenced by factors outside of an employee’s control. This can make it frustrating when bonus goals are missed despite putting in significant effort. The workload for on-site teams is also very demanding, and many employees may feel that the level of responsibility is not always reflected in their compensation. As a result, maintaining a healthy work-life balance can be challenging at times.
